SIGNS:
We will have to make, print, and put signs up every morning before a Key Club meeting reminding members of the meeting (and recruiting potential new members as well).  We are also responsible for putting signs up about upcoming or current fundraisers
 
Making the signs:
In your signs, include:
who (Key Club)
what (Meeting)
when (usually Fridays, after 10th)
where (usually Cafeteria but sometimes at Lecture Hall A)
why (include witty saying or a picture)
And don't forget your name on the bottom right hand corner!
 
If you want to use creative, wacky, cool, fun, silly, etc fonts, www.1001fonts.com is a great site for downloading free fonts!
 
EMAIL stuykc_pr@yahoo.com the night before you put the signs up with the following info:
Your Name: ____________
ID: _______
What you are doing (designing/printing/putting up): ___________
The number of signs: __ 
 
In the subject, include: Signs (purpose, either Meeting or a fundraiser like Teddy Bear sales, and the date)
e.g. Subject: Signs (Meeting 11/30)
 
ALSO attach the sign on the e-mail that you are work with! and having your name on the bottom right hand corner of the signs is still required.
 
As committee heads, we also have to send all of the different signs to our Editor, Ashley Cheng, so we can win an award for the best signs at the New York Convention in March 2008!
 
Printing the signs:
8.5 * 11 inches paper max, according to Ms. Damesek
Minimum number of signs: 7
Maximum number of signs: 14 (or 15 but NO MORE!)**
 
** = max changes per meeting, read your emails!
 
Posting the signs:
BEFORE 4th PERIOD ENDS!!!  We want to see signs in the morning when we come into the building.  And yes, you have to supply your own tape, sorry about that.
 
Do not post them by the escalators, the green pillars/poles, or on anything metal because they get taken down by teachers!
 
We will be checking each floor 5th period!
 
Post them on your ASSIGNED FLOOR (yes you will be sharing the floor with some of your fellow PR-ers)

POINTS SYSTEM:
DESIGNING SIGNS.............5 points (maximum of 2 different designs each time)
PRINTING SIGNS................2 points each (minimum of 7 and a maximum of 14 per meeting)
PUTTING UP THE SIGNS.....1 point each
 
For example, if you design 2 signs, print out 10, and put those 10 up, your points breakdown will be as followed:
 
(2*5) + (10*2) + (10*1) = 40 points

BONUS: Starting November 2007, we will email out a copy of your points for that month!  Please look it over and email us back with any errors.

CONTESTS:
There are currently two contests.  One for the best design and one for printing the most number of signs.  
 
The winners will receive a GIFT CARD and a LETTER and an OFFICIAL CERTIFICATE signed by the us and the Cab!  Hmmm...should we hand out the certificates at Induction?  =D
